Day 1: Agadir – Taroudant – Ouarzazate:
Depart from your Agadir hotel in the morning by 4×4 to the southeast. Visit Taroudant (medina, souk, walls, Palace Salam), lunch in Taliouine (opposite the kasba el Glaoui), and continue through Tazenakht, visiting the Ait Benhaddou kasbah (classified as a UNESCO World Heritage site). Dinner and night in a hotel in Ouarzazate.
Day 2: Ouarzazate – Boumalen Dades – Tinghir:
Leave Ouarzazate on the road to the casbahs to El Kelaa M’Gouna (the city of roses). From there, take a short loop of the valley of roses through Bou Tharar and return to the paved road. From Boumalne du Dadès, reach the Dadès gorges and continue to the Todra gorges. Dinner and Night in Tineghir
Day 3: Tinghir – Tazarine – Zagora:
Depart by road through the Saghro massifs, to reach Alnif, Tazarine. After lunch, continue your route through the Boughafer massif to reach the Zagora oasis. Free time to visit the city. This region is the birthplace of the Saadian dynasty that ruled in the 16th century and conquered Timbuktu. Dinner and night at the hotel.
Day 4: Zagora – M’hamid – Erg Chegaga:
After breakfast, visit the Quranic library, then continue the road to M’hamid where we will have lunch. After lunch, depart to the sand sea (Chégaga). The highest dune in Morocco (300m alt., over 40km long), camel ride, witness the sunset, animated evening with Sahara songs, dinner and night at the bivouac under tents in the middle of the dunes.
Day 5: Erg Chegaga – Foum Zguid – Taznakht – Agadir:
After breakfast in the desert, depart by 4×4 to Foum Zguid via the old Paris-Dakar route and the dried-up Iriqui lake. Lunch in Taznakht and continue to Agadir. Arrival late in the afternoon.
